I feel very fortunate to live in the lush and beautiful Ojai Valley in southern California.  Ojai is a small town of 8,000 people and just one movie theatre.  Don’t let that fool you, though, because there is a thriving cultural and art scene here, as well as many types of spiritual focus.  Ojai people are relaxed but far from asleep.

The picture in the background was taken by Robi Klein just before sunset, while the mountain top was still lit up. I planned the shot but couldn't climb up to where it needed to be taken from, so he graciously climbed up and took the shot for me.   We call this time the “pink moment”.  This is just one of the beautiful views of our gorgeous mountain ranges.
